Participate in the member consultation of College Regulatory framework
As announced in the July Registrar’s Report and in response to changes required by Bill 46, the College has begun a review and update of our Regulatory Framework for Practice. As is the case with any change to the Standards of Practice or Code of Ethics, the review includes a consultation period with regulated members.
Reviews of core regulatory codes present a valuable opportunity to examine, refine, or adapt our Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and other regulatory framework to ensure they uphold the mandate of the College.
The first step of the member consultation process is this ThoughtExchange on what members find to be the most effective and accessible template style for presenting Standards in a way that assists in understanding and implementation. Please take a few minutes to review the A, B, and C templates and share your thoughts on which you prefer and what (if any) aspects of the template you feel strongly about.
As with all ACAC ThoughtExchanges, participants are anonymous and an overview of the results will be shared with members after the exchange ends at 4 p.m. on September 14, 2021.

Help ACAC efforts to regain publicly-funded chiropractor-ordered diagnostic imaging
Since the loss of public funding for chiropractor-ordered diagnostic imaging, the ACAC has continued to lobby the government and engage decisionmakers in this topic. You can help us strengthen our work by sharing your story and experiences with us.
The clearest and strongest argument for reversing this loss is in the ongoing and real-life impacts you and your patients experience. We encourage you to take the time to share your experiences and stories in this survey. Without compromising patient privacy, please identify the key issues that you have encountered, with as much detail as possible.
